<p>Apparatus (1) for driving an item to be rotated such as a nut or spindle, comprises an electrical transverse flux motor (2) and a coupling mechanism (6) for coupling with the item to be driven, such that the rotational drive of the motor (2) results in rotation of the coupling mechanism (6) and hence the item to be driven. The apparatus (1) is particularly suited to driving items such as bolts/nuts underwater.</p> |
