<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for making effective use of slag, each of which is applied to wastes disposal equipment for disposing wastes into molten slag like an ash melting furnace or a gasifying/melting furnace placed side by side with a waste incinerator for burning wastes such as general waste and industrial waste and in which fine-grained slag can be also used effectively. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus for making effective use of slag is provided with a crusher 12 for crushing the molten slag C, a sieving machine 13 for sorting the slag crushed by the crusher 12, and a pneumatic conveying means 14 for blowing the fine-grained slag D pneumatically to inlets of bag filters 4, 10 being exhaust gas treatment facilities of the incinerator 2 and the melting furnace 6 so that the fine-grained slag D obtained by crushing the slag C is used in the bag filters 4, 10 as a reaction assistant B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
