<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase mode types that can be selected by a user, in an image forming apparatus including a specific color (special color) added to the conventional full-color. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a Y-color image forming unit 10Y which forms a yellow toner image; an M-color image forming unit 10M which forms a magenta toner image; a C-color image forming unit 10C which forms a cyan toner image; a K-color image forming unit 10K which forms a black toner image; a special-color image forming unit 10S which forms a special color toner image; and an intermediate transfer belt 15 which is disposed facing the photoreceptor drums 11 of the respective image forming units 10 and superposes held toner images of the respective colors. The photoreceptor drums 11 of the special-color image forming unit 10S and K-color image forming unit are positioned facing the intermediate transfer belt 15 whereas the respective photoreceptor drums 11 of the other image forming units 10Y to 10C are positioned apart from the intermediate transfer belt 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
