DATA RECEIVER, DATA STORAGE DEVICE AND ITS PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a large capacity hard disk (the hard disk of a data image recorder with the large capacity hard disk, for instance) purchased and left over in each household can not be effectively utilized for instance since a conventional system for transferring received data is in the mechanism of storing contents in a predetermined server device and accessing them. SOLUTION: A transmission/reception system is provided with a data receiver which decides a data storage device to transmit the data to on the basis of device information with a received data storage device identifier and transmits received data to the decided data storage device and the data storage device which receives the data from the data receiver and stores them as a proxy. By the transmission/reception system, even a device not provided with a recording medium having a sufficient recording capacity can utilize another device having a storage medium and record the data seamlessly as if recording them by itself.
