PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly acquire user's personal information required for a relief helper even when a user can not perform complicated operation in a positional search/relief system utilizing a portable communication terminal. SOLUTION: The relief system 1 is provided with a portable communication terminal 2 with a position measuring function, a prescribed communication means, a storage device for storing prescribed information in each user, and a management center 3 for acquiring user's positional information from the terminal 2 and managing the positional information. User's basic medical data are included in user's information and the portable communication terminal 2 is provided with an emergency communication switch 24. When a user 2A operates the emergency communication switch 24 formed on the communication terminal 2, an emergency signal is transmitted to the management center 3 and an emergency state and necessary information in the user's information are reported from the management center 3 to a prescribed contact destination 4.
