PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge capable of preventing air from intruding into an ink supply needle, when the ink supply needle on the side of an inkjet printer is inserted into an ink take-out port onto which a film is stuck. SOLUTION: The circular film 59 is stuck onto an outside opening 58 of the ink take-out port 13b of the ink cartridge 20. An annular end surface 50a, which serves as a film sticking surface, is a flat surface; a radially elongated groove 50b, which is formed in a part of the end surface 50a, functions as a communication part in a state wherein the film 59 is stuck; and a space 60 in the ink take-out port, which is closed with the film 59, is opened to the atmosphere. Even if the volume of the space 60 is reduced due to the elongation of the film when the ink supply needle 12b breaks through the film 59, the space 60 is not brought into a positive pressure state due to an increase in pressure in the space 60.
