PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor which is capable of a balance adjustment simultaneously while contriving the weight reduction of the rotor by resin molding. SOLUTION: In the rotor for a motor, one end plate 20 interposing a stacked iron core 3 with a magnet 4 embedded therein has an integrated structure with a resinous end ring 9 and a metallic end ring 10. These resinous ring 9 and metallic end ring 10 have stepped parts 12, which engage with each other at sections where they contact with each other. Furthermore, since the resinous end ring 9 and the metallic end ring 10 are concentric, they are integrated with each other, thereby forming an end plate 20 when they are set on a rotor shaft 1.
