CHOKE COIL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a choke coil which causes little losses in a high frequency region and the inductance of which is little lowered by a superposed direct current even under a high current condition to cope with the miniaturization and thickness reduction of electronic equipment and speed up/integration of LSIs, such as CPUs etc., of these days and predicted various future circuit configurations. SOLUTION: The choke coil is composed of a coil 1 formed by punching a flat metallic sheet and bending the punched piece and integrated with terminals and an intermediate tap, and a magnetic material 8 in which the coil 1 integrated with the terminals and tap is buried. Consequently, a choke coil that can cope with the miniaturization/frequency increase of electronic equipment and is effective for predicted various future circuit configurations can be realized.
