DEVICE FOR DECONTAMINATING BENT PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for decontaminating a bent pipe which enables efficient cleaning of it. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a backing ring 14 which can be attached to and detached from the bent pipe 10 so as to circumferentially surround the outer peripheral face of the pipe 10, a wiping-out material 15 which is placed all around the backing ring 14 and can flexibly fit to the outer peripheral face of the bent pipe 10 and manipulation bars 16 whose lower ends are linked to the backing ring 14. The outer peripheral face of a submerged part of the bent pipe 10 is cleaned by the wiping-out material 15, by pushing and pulling the upper ends of the manipulation bars 16 from above the water surface to hoist and lower the backing ring 14 mounted on the bent pipe 10, under conditions with a part of it being submerged.
