PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact short distance communication device capable of freely moving the operation parts to the position excellent in operationality by utilizing an electromagnetic induction coupling. SOLUTION: The non-contact short distance communication device has a first antenna member 1, a second antenna member 2, a first communication unit 3 connected with the first antenna member 1, and a second communication unit 4 connected with the second antenna member 2. The first and the second communication units 3, 4 communicate through the electromagnetic induction coupling part formed by the first and the second antenna member 1, 2. The non-contact short distance communication device is equipped with operation means 6, 7 supplying an operation command signal to the second communication 4, a case 5 incorporating the second antenna member 2, the second communication unit 4 and the operation means 6, 7 and a attach/detach means 8 attaching/detaching the case 5 by approaching an arbitrary position relative to the first antenna member 1 so that the electromagnetic induction coupling part with the first and the second antenna members 1, 2 is formed.
