PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a building which enables the efficient and economical arrangement of a structurally necessary bearing wall, which enables a design with designability and openness, and which is suitable for use as an apartment house. SOLUTION: In this apartment house 1 which is constituted by juxtaposing two dwelling sections 2 and 3 on right and left sides, the right and left dwelling sections each are independently arranged in a state of being away from each other at a prescribed interval so that a shared space 4 can be formed between them. The right and left dwelling sections are arranged on a foundation 10 which is formed in series, and a roof 11 which is formed in series is provided by being placed on the upper and lower parts of the right and left dwelling sections.
