PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the initial setting of standard time in a clocking means easy. SOLUTION: An auxiliary control part receives a command from a personal computer via the interface (S1:Yes, S2: Yes). If the received command is a regular command (S3: Yes), the time data from the personal computer are written in the clocking means (S6). When the initial setting in the clocking means is completed normally (S7: Yes), the time data written in the clocking means are returned to the personal computer side (S9), and the initial setting operation is terminated.
