PURPOSE: A method of packaging kimchi for a lunch box using a radish is provided. It solves problems of polluting the environment while maintaining freshness and taste of kimchi as it was. CONSTITUTION: The kimchi packaging method consists of: cutting a radish into a rectangle shape having a width similar to that of kimchi and a length over four times that of kimchi; preparing a belt shaped packaging material having a width of 5cm and a length over two times that of the radish; salting the packaging material with salt; removing moisture by hydrating the packaging material; cutting kimchi to a width of 1cm and a length of 5m and then packaging.
