PURPOSE: A connector for use in a plastic optical fiber is provided to simplify the process as well as to easily implement the connection of the optical fiber. CONSTITUTION: A connector(1) for use in a plastic optical fiber includes a housing(10), a plastic optical fiber, a capsule(30) and a guide unit(40). The plastic optical fiber is connected to the one side of the housing(10). The capsule(30) is installed in such a way that it is contact to the polished plastic optical fiber in the housing(10) and a refractive index matching liquid is inserted into the capsule(30). And, the guide unit(40) is formed on the other side of the housing(10) for guiding the plastic optical fiber to be connected into the capsule(30) of the housing(10).
