A sprung unit for incorporation into a bed, divan bed, mattress and other upholstered units comprises a plurality of pocketted springs (4) each comprising a closed pocket of fabric or other material containing resilient means, and a plurality of non-pocketted resilient means (10), said non-pocketted resilient means being located in some at least of voids between said pocketted springs. The pocketted springs and the non-pocketted springs will preferably be coil springs. |
