The wood and metal frame structure has a wood profile (10) to carry a base profile (12) and one or two inner seals (18). The base profile (12) has passage openings (15) for vapor diffusion, and at least one drainage zone (22) at the side of the base profile away from the wood profile, and between the base profile (12) and the one-piece inner seal (18). A film, e.g. of Tyvek (RTM; woven plastics film), is bonded by adhesive to the wood profile, which allows diffusion but is watertight. The base profile (12) is of metal or plastics with a metal reinforcement. |
