PURPOSE: A water supply structure for a washing machine is provided to improve washing and rinsing efficiencies by shower-injecting washing water through the shower injection container to the inner wall of the inner tub, and to prevent damage of electric components by restricting water from splashing with installing the shower injection container inside the washing tub. CONSTITUTION: A water supply structure for a washing machine is composed of an outer tub(54) installed in a case to store washing water; an inner tub(55) rotated and installed in the outer tub to store the laundry and washing water; a feed valve assembly(64) installed in the upper parts of the inner tub and the outer tub to regulate water supplied to the outer tub and the inner tub; and a shower injection container(70) installed in the upper part of the outer tub to shower washing water supplied by the feed valve assembly to the inner wall of the inner tub. Detergent is stored in the shower injection container without an additional detergent box to input detergent conveniently. |
