THERMOSENSITIVE POLYSACCHARIDE COPOLYMER AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A polysaccharide graft copolymer and its preparation method are provided, to obtain a thermosensitive and water-soluble polysaccharide graft copolymer which has an excellent biocompatibility. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of adding an oxidation-reduction initiator to a polysaccharide solution to produce a polysaccharide radical; and grafting an acrylamide-based polymer, a copolymer of an acrylamide-based monomer and a vinyl-based monomer or a copolymer of an acrylamide-based monomer and an acryl-based monomer to the polysaccharide radical solution. Preferably the oxidation-reduction initiator is ammonium cerium nitrate. Also the method comprises the steps of treating a polyethylene oxide-polypropylene oxide-polyethylene oxide terpolymer with a substituting agent to carry out tosylation of one terminal hydroxyl group of the terpolymer; and grafting the tosylated terpolymer to a polysaccharide.
