TUBE FOR PREVENTING BURN-UP OF SOUND ABSORBING MATERIAL OF VEHICLE MUFFLER

PURPOSE: A tube for preventing burn-up of a sound absorbing material of a vehicle muffler is provided to improve the mechanical properties of heat resistance and acid resistance of warps used in weaving the tube, to secure the dimensional stability of low weight and high flexibility, and to easily assembly to a straight or bent filter pipe. CONSTITUTION: A pipe-shaped tube(10) is inserted and combined to the outside of a filter pipe comprising a muffler for a vehicle to prevent the burn-up of a sound absorbing material filled in a muffler can and formed by mixing and weaving wefts(30) and warps(20). The warp is a covering yarn covering cover yarns with excellent mechanical properties of heat resistance and acid resistance around the outside of a wadded yarn. The weft mixed and woven with the warp is a metal yarn. The wadded yarn of the covering yarn used for the warp is made from a glass fiber and the cover yarn and weft are from stainless fibers.
