<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin compsn. which gives a water pipe which is free from color change or discoloratin and blistering and is excellent in color fastness and resistance to chlorine-contg. water by compounding a polyolefin resin with an inorg. filler mainly comprising a specific hydroxysodalite. SOLUTION: A resin compsn. for a water pipe is prepd. by compounding 100 pts.wt. polyolefin resin having a density of 0.910-0.980 g/cm<3> and an MFR of 0.01-10.0 g/10 min with 0.05-100 pts.wt. inorg. filler compsn. contg. 5-95 wt. % inorg. filler mainly comprising a hydroxysodalite of the formula: Na4 Al3 Si3 O12 (OH) and 0.05-3,000 pts.wt., pref. 1-50 pts.wt., org. pigment and/or inorg. pigment having a spinel structure of at least two metal oxides and comprising a composite oxide pigment having a BET specific surface area of 30 m<2> /g or higher. The compsn. is kneaded under normal-temp. heating and extruded with an extruder to give a resin-made water pipe.</p> |
