METHOD FOR MONITORING FAILURE OF REPEATER

PURPOSE: A method for monitoring failure of a repeater is provided to discriminate whether a repeater has an error through an HLR(Home Location Register). CONSTITUTION: A management server extracts the number of a monitoring terminal of a repeater(S201), and extracts information on the number of the first registered exchange to be stored in a database of the management server(S203). An HLR checks a location registration time of the monitoring terminal matched to a corresponding terminal(S205). The management server extracts a monitoring terminal which has not been checked during the location registration time(S207). The management server checks information on a non-checked monitoring terminal through the HLR(S209). The management server searching information on the number of an exchange finally connected to the corresponding monitoring terminal by searching multiple exchanges connected to the HLR(S211). The management server stores the location registration time information and the number information of the exchange in an ARS server(S213). The management server calculates a time difference between location registration time of the monitoring terminal and information collection time(S215). If the time difference is more than 90 minutes, the management server regards the corresponding monitoring terminal as having been broken down(S217). The management server performs a paging test(S219). The ARS server performs an ARS on a corresponding subscriber(S221). When the ARS server receives a confirmation that the monitoring terminal has been broken down(S223), the ARS server informs an operator accordingly(S225).
