The frangible coupling has a shaft (1) support bearing (3) mounted with radial play in an annular carrier (8) fixed to the turbofan stator (5). The bearing is attached to the carrier by shear bolts (9) parallel to the shaft, so that the bearing can engage onto the support if the bolts shear.
