The coupling system (100) between a transport module such as a carriage and handling and seriving equipment of an aluminium electrolysis production plant consists of a fixed frame (101) with a journal (102) surrounded by a rotary sleeve (121), and first (110) and second (120) rotary frames able to rotate round the sleeve. It has sliding electrical contacts (113, 114) between the frames and drive systems (140, 141, 142, 150, 151, 152) that turn the frames relative to one another about a common axis (103).
