<p>The optical sensor comprises an optical waveguide (1) with a substrate (104), wave guiding material (105), a cover medium (106), and a wave guide mesh effect (101-103). Light can be transmitted by means of a light source (2) from the substrate side and/or from the cover medium side to the waveguide mesh effect. At least two different light portions (7-10) radiated from the waveguide can be detected by sensor units (11). The waveguide can be fixed stationary with regard to the light source and the sensor units. The waveguide mesh effect is comprised of one or more waveguide units which can be provided with chemical or biochemical layers.</p> |
