The throttle flap support for a flow control valve with a tubular housing (1) with a cylindrical through flow opening (2) receiving a circular throttle flap (3) mounted on a tubular hub (4). The hub has an axial bore for a throttle vlave shaft (6) fixed to it. The shaft is mounted with plate in the axial bore and positioned by a cross pin held at its ends by retaining washers.
