PURPOSE: A method for registering/changing a telephone number of a local station in a wireless facsimile is provided to enable a telephone number of a local station to be registered or changed in all portable devices by one-time registration processed through a fixing device, so that a user can more conveniently use a product. CONSTITUTION: A wireless circuit controller of a fixing device receives an execution key for a local name registration mode(300). The controller detects whether local name information is inputted(302). If so, the controller registers/stores the local name information(304), and transmits the registered/stored information by calling a portable device(306). A controller of the portable device executes the mode based on a local name registration mode conversion signal(350). The controller detects whether the local name information is transmitted(352). If so, the controller registers/stores the information(354), and displays the registered/stored information on an LCD(356).
