PURPOSE: An apparatus for sorting a construction waste is provided to separate a lightweight foreign material from the construction waste and thus to prevent the environment from being contaminated, and to provide good-quality recycled aggregate. CONSTITUTION: The sorting apparatus includes a transfer conveyor(4), an air supply source(2), a chute(1), and a collecting housing(6). A construction waste supplied into the chute falls downward. An air discharged from the air supply source is supplied to the falling construction waste, and thus the foreign material contained therein is separated. Separated foreign material is sorted through a foreign material discharge outlet(14) into the collecting housing. The chute is formed at both lower ends with a catching jaw and thus fitted into a frame(16). A guide is provided in one end of the chute and a discharge outlet for the construction waste is provided in other end of the chute. A first damper(3) is provided between the guide and the discharge outlet. The first damper is configured to couple a damper panel(33) to damper shaft(32).
