PURPOSE: A quick lime coating layer remover is provided to remove a coating layer in a rotary kiln. CONSTITUTION: A remover (100) for a quick lime coating layer contains a telescopic boom (50) extended into a rotary kiln (10); a smashing device (60) installed in the end of the telescopic boom; a camera installed in the upper portion of the smashing device to watch inside the rotary kiln; and a hydraulic cylinder (70) adjusting the slant angle of the telescopic boom for the smooth movement of the telescopic boom. Further, the rotary kiln has an input hole in a sealing unit. The smashing device comprises a first and a second crusher. The first crusher gives a shock to the rotary kiln in the length direction of the telescopic boom and the second crusher vertically gives a shock to the rotary kiln. A controller (80) watches inside the rotary kiln by the camera and the smashing device advances with a three-stage boom (53) to smash the quick lime coating layer.
