Production of lysinopryl of low ash content consists of neutralising of saline L solution obtained from alkaline hydrolysis

The production of lysinopryl of low ash content comprises neutralising to pH 4.4-5.5 with an ion exchange resin, of the saline solution containing the raw lysinopryl. The solution, from alkaline hydrolysis of a protected precursor of lysinopryl, gives below 0.1 per cent ash content of the product.
