PURPOSE: A running machine with accident prevention device is provided to make the relieved purchase for home use possible by preventing hands of a child or something like that from catching in an endless belt. CONSTITUTION: A sprocket(15) which can be hung by a timing belt is fixed-mounted on one side of a shaft processed with a support roller as one body; a pushing roller(10) having many irregular grooves in the circumferential direction right behind a back-end bent part of an endless belt is assembled with bearing in a lateral mounting member(13); the sprocket(15) is fixed-mounted on one side of the shaft processed with the pushing roller(10) so that it can be driven by a timing belt transferring the rotation power of a supporting roller thereto; a split front-end of a safety filtering cover(11) composed of many fork-type arms is assembled with the mounting member of the safety filtering cover at some distance from the lower surface of the concave of the pushing roller(10).
