摘要 PURPOSE: A catalyst is provided which is installed in a heating system used for heating livestock stable and workshop to remove noxious substance and stench existing in polluted air as well as carbon monoxide and nitrogen compounds generated during operation of the heating system, and a heating system equipped with the catalyst is provided. CONSTITUTION: In a catalyst for oxidizing and reducing thus removing non-burnt hydrocarbon, carbon monoxide and malodorous substance such as ammonia and amine generated during combustion, the catalyst is characterized in that 0.001 to 20 wt.% of at least one or more of metal oxides formed of metals selected from Mn, Cu, Ni, Fe and Co is supported onto a support per the total catalyst weight, wherein the support comprises at least one or more compounds selected from aluminum oxide, titanium dioxide, silicon oxide and zirconium oxide, wherein the catalyst for heating system is manufactured in a monolith shape, and wherein the catalyst is mounted on a heating system. The heating system comprises an air inlet(22) for flowing air in the heating system; a filter(10) installed at an entrance of the air inlet to filter materials unnecessary for combustion existing in the air flown in; a fan(18) installed at a rear part of the filter to easily flow in air from the outside; a burner(2) installed at a rear part of the fan to burn the sucked air along with fuel by sucking some of the air flown in; a combustion gas moving path(12) through which gas of high temperature burnt in the burner passes; a heat exchange means(4) installed on the outer wall of the combustion gas moving path to conduct heat of high temperature passing through the combustion gas moving path; a non-burnt gas moving path(14) installed between the heat exchange means and heat sink(20) so that some of the air flown in the air inlet flows through the non-burnt gas moving path, and the non-burnt gas moving path receives heat from the heat exchange means; a catalyst layer(6) installed adjacently to an end of the non-burnt gas moving path and the combustion gas moving path so that combustion gas of high temperature and air flow in the catalyst layer; and an air outlet(24) for exhausting air from which contaminants treated as air is passing through the catalyst layer are removed.
