IN-LINE FACER (ILF) MACHINE

In order to process mixed mail pieces quickly, effectively, and with a reduced amount of human intervention, a mail processing machine termed an In-Line Facer (ILF) Machine is provided by the invention as the primary apparatus in a mechanised mail processing system. In some embodiments, the ILF machine is adapted to be compact and mobile, features that have no precedence in prior art machines, which are typically bolted to the floor.
