PURPOSE: A mode switch device is provided to rotatively combine a rotor with a PCB of an information recording/reproducing device, and to turn on/off a switch contact for controlling each mode by a brush of the rotor and contact patterns of the PCB, thereby realizing a slim VCR complicated product. CONSTITUTION: A rotor(310) is rotatively combined on a PCB(300). A brush is attached to the rotor(310). Contact patterns for turning on/off a contact by the brush are formed on the PCB(300). A projection(311) is formed on a lower side of the rotor(310) to transmit a rotational force by using the projection(311), or a gear is formed on an outer circumference to transmit the rotational force. A rotation combining portion(320) rotatively combines the rotor(310) with the PCB(300). While the rotor(310) rotates, brush terminals connected to the rotor(310) are contacted with the patterns of the PCB(300), turning on/off switches by terminal according to a set mode.
