The system includes a user to network interface (UNI), which is used for connecting to the user network, and a network to network interface (NNI), which is used for connecting to this digital transmission network for transferring data. There is a mapping and unmapping device, and a virtual interface device, which is connected to a UNI interface and an NNI interface via the mapping and unmapping device. There is also a control device, which is coupled to this virtual interface device for causing the flow of processing of different data frames.
