The roofrack consists of a base frame (1) of metal or synthetic material, an intermediate structure (3) connected to the base frame by one or more hydraulic cylinders, and a rack or platform (4) fastened to the intermediate structure by its forward end but free at the rear end. The hydraulic cylinders have two-way operation, with controlled valves, and can be operated electrically or manually, while the base frame has a hook to limit the angle of the rack or platform and side wedges to prevent lateral movement.
