摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring residual stress of an optical fiber is provided to precisely detect an internal state of the optical fiber and to reduce optical loss by closely aligning an object lens with respect to the optical fiber. CONSTITUTION: A residual stress measurement apparatus includes a light source(210), a lens system(230), a polarizing system(250), a measurement section(260), a photo detector(270), a first reflective mirror(220) aligned between the light source(210) and the lens system(230), and a second reflective mirror(240) aligned between the lens system(230) and the polarizing system(250). The light source(210) radiates light in order to detect residual stress of an optical fiber(262). The first reflective mirror(220) is positioned at one side of the light source(210) so as to allow light to be introduced into the lens system(230).
