PLACE GUIDING NAVIGATION SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A place guiding navigation system and a method thereof are provided to guide a road by synthesizing audio signals with information containing a concrete place name. CONSTITUTION: An information center(400) comprises a map database(410) for storing map data, a traffic information database(420) for storing real-time traffic information, and a place name information database(430) for storing place name data. If a current position and destination information are inputted from a navigation terminal(600), the information center receives them through a mobile radio communication network(500) and generates a route guiding data containing place name data with reference to the map database, the traffic information database, and the place name information database. The mobile radio communication network provides an information channel between the information center and the navigation terminal.
