<p>The invention relates to a method for removing a cable core from a cable sheath, said cable core comprising a casing (8). A flowing medium (22) is introduced under pressure into the cable duct (9) at one end of the cable to reduce friction and a tension force (F) is exerted on the cable core at one end (5) of the cable (1).
