Compounds of general formulas IA or IB; where: R1 is (a), (b), (c), (d) or is -NH(CH2)2OH, -NR3C(O)CH3 or -NR3C(O)-cyclopropyl; R2 is methyl or chloro; R3 is hydrogen or methyl; R is -(CH2)2OH; and n is 1 or 2 These compounds have an affinity for the NK-1 receptor and may be useful in treating or preventing conditions where such a pharmacological action is useful. A process for the producing compounds of formula IA or IB is disclosed.
