The invention relates to fungicidal mixtures that contain, in a synergistically effective amount, a) benzophenones of the formula wherein R1 represents chlorine, methyl, methoxy, acetoxy, pivaloyloxy or hydroxy; R2 represents chlorine or methyl; R3 represents hydrogen, halogen or methyl; and R4 represents C1-C6 alkyl or benzyl, whereby the phenyl part of the benzyl group may carry a halogen or methyl substituent, and b) amide compounds or the formula wherein R6 and R7 represent halogen, nitro, cyano, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, halogenalkyl, halogenalkenyl, halogenalkinyl, alkoxy, halogenalkoxy, alkylthio, halogenalkylthio, alkylsulfinyl or alkylsulfonyl; x is 1, 2, 3 or 4; and y is 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. Then invention further relates to methods for controlling fungicidal parasites using the mixtures of compounds I and II and to the agents containing said mixtures. 9 claims
