REFRIGERATOR WITH COLD AIR PASSAGE SYSTEM BY TWO FANS

PURPOSE: A refrigerator with a cold air passage system by two fans is provided to prevent unnecessary power consumption by restricting supercooling of a freezer compartment, and to keep food fresh in the freezer compartment for a long time by adjusting temperature optimally without supercooling. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator is composed of a freezer compartment and a refrigerator compartment. Cold air is generated by an evaporator(7) for performing the refrigerating cycle to keep the predetermined temperature of the freezer compartment and the refrigerator compartment, and supplied through cold air discharge ports(5) in rear side walls(4,11) of the freezer compartment and the refrigerator compartment. Low temperature cool air from the evaporator is streamed through the cold air passage by a shroud and discharged through the cold air discharge port by forcibly circulating with axial flow fans(10,10a) to keep food fresh for a long time. A damper(12a) is placed between the freezer compartment and the refrigerator compartment to flow cold air from the freezer compartment through the damper to the refrigerator compartment.
