Combustion control apparatus for in-cylinder injection internal combustion engine, limits engine stabilization control during middle of compression stroke injection and restarts control operation during intake stroke injection

An electronic controller controls fuel injection amount and ignition time during compression stroke injection when the engine speed drops during warming-up process. An execution controller limits the stabilization control during the middle of compression stroke injection and a restart controller restarts the stabilization control when the engine is switched to intake stroke injection. An Independent claim is also included for combustion method of in-cylinder injection internal combustion engine.
