The dominant movement estimation calculates (1) the movement vector field associated with an image. Movement is modelled with simplified parameters (2) using vectors representing movement translation and a divergence factor characterizing the zoom component. Robust linear regression (3) is carried out in each of the vector spaces. The movement parameters are calculated (4,5) from the origin coordinates and the regression line peaks. |
