PURPOSE: A device for displaying data broadcasting and a method therefor are provided to enable a user to simultaneously use a PIP(Picture In Picture) function and a data broadcasting function without collision when simultaneously executing the two functions on a digital TV, thereby realizing user convenience. CONSTITUTION: A video receiver(20) separates an audio stream from a video stream by receiving digital broadcasting. A PIP processor(40) performs capture, resize, and positioning processes in a graphic part and a TV part to realize a PIP function of data broadcasting according to a received video signal. A display(50) synthesizes the TV part with the graphic part, processes the video signal, and displays the processed video signal. A controller(30) controls the video receiver(20), the PIP processor(40), and the display(50). |
