PURPOSE: A power supply unit of a mobile phone using solar heat is provided to drive a mobile phone by electricity generated by a solar cell by installing the solar cell at an outer surface of a mobile phone. CONSTITUTION: A voltage detector(112) detects strength of voltages applied from a battery(20) and a voltage controller(111). A switching unit(113) selectively outputs the voltage applied from the voltage controller(111) and the voltage applied from the battery(20) based on a certain control signal applied from a controller(114). The controller(114) selectively provides the voltages outputted from the battery(20) or the voltage controller(111) as driving power of a mobile phone by controlling the switching unit(113) based on the information on the voltage strength of the battery(20) and the voltage controller(111).
