REFRIGERATOR WITH CEILING TYPE EVAPORATOR

PURPOSE: A refrigerator with a ceiling type evaporator is provided to maximize the effective capacity of the refrigerator by discharging cold air downward from evaporators in the top of a refrigerator compartment or a freezer compartment, and to increase cooling speed by keeping even temperature distribution of the freezer compartment or the refrigerator compartment. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator with a ceiling type evaporator is composed of a refrigerator compartment and a freezer compartment. Evaporators are placed in the upper parts of the refrigerator compartment and the freezer compartment to discharge cold air downward from the evaporators. Cold air is generated by the evaporators, and supplied to cold air passages(11) of the door and the sidewall by using a cross flow fan(12). Cold air is discharged through a cold air discharge port(5a) of the cold air passage. Deviation of temperature is reduced by discharging cold air from the evaporators installed to the ceiling of the freezer compartment or the refrigerator compartment.
