<p>The machine has carrier arms (7-10) articulated to a frame (1). Each carrier arm comprises of two telescopic portions (23,24). The first telescopic portion of at least one carrier arm has an additional guide section (33) that extends beyond the support axis of a corresponding rotor (11) to allow the second telescopic portion to be guided as far as the outer position. The windrowing rotors are driven in rotation about vertical support axis and connected to the carrier arms that move from horizontal work position to vertical position and vice versa. The first telescopic portion of each carrier arm is connected to the articulation axis on the frame while the second telescopic portion carries the corresponding rotor. The second telescopic portion slides with respect to the first telescopic portion to vary the position of the corresponding rotor with respect to the frame between inner position and outer position. When in inner position, the support axis is located at a minimum distance from the articulation axis of the corresponding carrier arm. When in outer position, the support axis is located at a maximum distance from the articulation axis.</p> |
