The hot window comprises a chassis (1) supporting several trays (4) containing food to be maintained hot, fans (7) for circulating hot air inside the window and tanks (5) for saturating the hot air with steam. Glazed walls (3) form an enclosure above the trays. Slits (11,12) are provided to create, along the internal wall of the front face of the window, a fresh laminar flow of air preventing condensation adhering to the internal wall of the front face.
