PURPOSE: A color flat panel display is provided to evaporate a getter with a low power consumption by reducing the distance between a radio frequency induction heater and the getter. CONSTITUTION: A color flat panel display comprises a rear glass(1) serving as a base plate; a rear electrode deposited on the inner surface of the rear glass so as to form a conductive plate; an electron source(3) disposed on the rear electrode so as to emit electrons; a front glass having an extraction electrode(4), a signal electrode(5), a focus electrode(6), a horizontal deflection electrode(7), and a vertical deflection electrode(8), wherein the front glass is deposited with a phosphor for emitting light by the electron beam; a getter(13) interposed between the rear glass and the electron source so as to increase the vacuum level of the display; and an inserted member(17) interposed between the getter and the electron source, and which has an electrical resistance lower than 0.1¥Ø(based on the length of 1mm and cross section area of 1mm¬2).
