ANTI-INFLAMMATORY COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING HERB MEDICINES

PURPOSE: An anti-inflammatory cosmetic composition containing herb medicines is provided, which composition inhibits cyclooxygenase and inflammation, and does not result in side-effects such as cell toxicity, allergy, skin stimulation and human body stimulation. CONSTITUTION: The anti-inflammatory cosmetic composition contains 0.1 to 30.0 wt.% of extracts of herb medicines including Polygonatum stenophyllum MAX., Acanthopanax sessiliflorus SEEM., Asparagus cochinchinensis MERR. and Polygonum multiflorum Thunberg, wherein the extracts of herb medicines are prepared by using solvent such as butylene glycol and water; and the anti-inflammatory cosmetic composition has a formulation selected from cosmetic water, essence, lotion, cream, gel or ointment.
